I was really happy with the accommodation. I did not expect so friendly people willing to help each step of the way. I knew I will not go to 5 star hotel but what I found out was clean, nice place to stay in quiet mode :) Especially thanks for a receptionist which after seeing me was able to 100% predict which visitor I am for his “perfect solution” to all and overall professional eye and approach. 5/5 from me

We had a really great stay. Everyone at the hotel and pub were really nice. The location was really convenient for us as we needed to be midway between Trinity Hall and City Centre. The breakfast each day was fantastic. The room was very comfortable. We also appreciated the WIFI service throughout the hotel and pub. Great job - very likely we will stay there again in the future!

The hotel was fabulous! When we arrived the man on reception was so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was very clean and spacious and the view we had was nice too. The breakfast was delicious and filling and also the evening meals were excellent and good value for money...I would definately recommend the meals! All members of staff were friendly and added to our holiday experience and we were very grateful for the receptionist help with helping organise our trips. We would definately stay there again.

Great quaint little place on the Grand Canal. I'm a walker so from the Portobello I could walk everywhere in the city! If you are not a walker, then the buses are very close by ... but I still suggest a stroll along the canal. Having the attached bar/restaurant was wonderful as well and breakfast was HUGE and well worth it!

Bathroom was spotless and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was more than adequate and served with a great attitude. Slightly overpriced for the quality and standard of the rooms but otherwise it does this standard of accommodation very well.
